You might be new around these parts and not know our fearless founder, Liz Wilcox. But if you do know her, then you know that she is truly one of a kind and perhaps a little crazy. We love her!
Liz started The Virtual Campground when she started RVing with her husband and young daughter. They were full-timers for many years and now Liz part-time RVs. But she also runs her own business and her latest adventure was to appear on the 46th season of Survivor. Her daughter asked her if she was just going to talk abou it or do it and well, she did it!
Survivor premieres Wednesday, Feb. 28 at 7 p.m. CST with a two-hour show. And we wanted to. make it a party so we are inviting you to watch along with us and chat with us on what you think. The way that it will work is that I will open our Live show on Facebook and YouTube at 6:45 p.m. At 7, we will all turn on our TVs or devices streaming Paramount Plus to watch. We can “talk” during the show without bothering anyone and jump back on live during commercials.
For those who are not familiar with Survivor, it is one of the first reality shows and is now in its 46th season (two per year). They take a diverse group of people, divide them into tribes and have them compete with one another to stay on the island until the bitter end. The show consists of alliances between the contestants and hard physical tests where you can win prizes or just the right to stay on the island. Liz said the show was taped last June and promises to be lots of fun!
For more information on Liz, check out her pre-event Survivor interview. And check out this YouTube show where Liz turned the reins of TVC over to us.
So grab a beverage, your favorite snack and a headband while we watch Liz compete her way to a possible million dollars!
Join us at 6:45 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 28th Live or watch the show on your own and post your comments below.
